What Types of Counseling Services Are Offered?
Substance Abuse Assessments and Counseling:

Comprehensive Assessments and Counseling Services are offered for alcohol and drug addictions.  The most effective counseling methods are used to assist a full and lasting recovery.

Substance Abuse Interventions:
The counselor coordinates with the family, employer and significant others to develop a plan to supportively and compassionately provide an intervention with the substance abuser.  The goal is to encourage entry into an appropriate treatment program.

Motivational Enhancement Counseling:
The counselor works with the client to develop their internal motivation for change.  The objective is to encourage their voluntary participation in treatment.

Family/Couple/Individual:
The counselor and client(s) work together to develop an effective treatment plan to meet their unique needs.  The counselor draws on a variety of skills to address issues such as anger management, communication skills or relationship issues.

Traumatic Incident Counseling
This is an effective, innovative short term counseling method used to respond to people who have experienced traumas, such as, child abuse, combat experience, or a traumatic loss.

Because CCS specializes in groups, they offer Successfully Navigating Through Hard Times Group on a frequent basis.  While this is a 6 weeks group, other groups are open to enrolling new clients.

How Long do Counseling Services Last?
